Saturday, March 25th, 2006Hi Nikki the kids had a blast at this pirate party! I needed plenty of adult helpers as it was for my sons 6 yr old bday party but all the work paid off. This was an amazing, well thought out and organized treasure hunt. When I get a chance I will try to send out some pictures. Thanks for all your online assistance throughout the planning stages! All the best

Monday, March 20th, 2006I struggled for weeks on what to do for my daughter’s 13th birthday party. It’s a tough age. They don’t want to be treated like kids and they don’t want to do anything that might be considered ‘lame’. Thinking back to my college sorority days, I started thinking that a scavenger hunt might be the answer. So, after a thorough Goggle search, I ordered your ‘Treasure Hunt Party Game Planner’. To make a long story short, several kids told me afterwards that it was the BEST birthday party they had ever attended…even before their parents told them to say it??!!
With just a few minor modifications, I implemented your Scavenger Photo Challenge. I thought it would be safer and easier than a bunch of 13 year-olds ‘borrowing’ items. Also, I liked the idea of having a permanent record of the party in the photos.
Clearly, your planner was an excellent resource in preparing for this event.

Wednesday, March 15th, 2006Hi Nikki- Overall things were great — It really was fun and I’m looking for an opportunity to do another Treasure Hunt. I ended with each of 4 teams finding one-fourth of a Treasure Map — they all had to work together to get a Treasure Chest filled with Goodie Bags. Thanks, this was great!

Sunday, March 5th, 2006Hi Nikki, Thanks for the Treasure Hunt. My son’s 8th birthday party was great. All the kids loved the hunt and the last clue was a treasure map that lead to a buried treasure. They all were running around like crazy. My son still talks about it a week later. He wants to do it again next year.
My daughter is having her 16th birthday in November, I am planning to make a treasure hunt for her party.

Sunday, March 5th, 2006It was last weekend and I got some compliments on it. I used some of your ideas and also incorporated some landmarks of the camp we were in and everyone seemed to have a good time.
We had a Scavenger hunt around our Scout camp. I incorporated finding things with facts about camp so the kids had to visit various areas of camp they may not usually visit. They seemed to have a good time with it. It wasn’t the only activity - it was part of a full day of activities. I will be using your ideas for our Cub Scout summer camp as I am Camp Director.
