Thursday, March 22nd, 2007It went great. It was a summer end employee party and at the end the treasure was a chest full of $1 gold coins. Each employee got part of the treasure. I had to modify the clues to make it work at my resort but it went great. The employees loved it. The only thing I would do different would be to number the clues. A couple of groups found a clue that was not the correct one. If I numbered them, they would know that it wasn’t the right clue. However, the team that actually won the treasure hunt didn’t skip any clues so that part was kinda funny

Wednesday, March 7th, 2007Yes, indeed, our Treasure Hunt was successful and fun. I used your program more for inspiration and ideas rather than exactly following it. We had about 10 children ages 4 to 14. The event was a neighborhood block party. I broke them into two teams and started them in different spots of the hunt. They only were to pick up the clue for their color team. It seemed hard enough and yet easy enough so as to not frustrate.
It certainly entertained the children and had them running all over the neighborhood. Both teams completed the hunt.

Tuesday, February 20th, 2007We have tried out the game for my son’s 6th birthday. It was great! We had three teams of three or four kids and one adult each. I had mixed up the clues and starting points and they all lead to the same end point a pirate treasure trunk filled with lots of treasures! The kid’s had so much fun. Some of them were readers and had fun reading the clues for the rest of the group. The hunt went from inside the house to outside around the yard, gardens, trees, fences, flower pots, wheel barrow, etc. The Instant Treasure Hunt Game was perfect in helping me with this party activity! The instant treasure hunt party for our son turning 9 was a huge hit! Once the boys got warmed up they were running in and out of the house for clues. In order to have everyone feel included we rotated who read the clues. I also emphasized this was a ‘team’ approach. It worked out really well and it was fun to see which riddles stumped them and which ones they figured out with ease.

Friday, January 5th, 2007We had fun, but these boys and girls went through the treasure hunt clues like a hot knife through butter and soon I had to organize them into a relay race. Luckily it was a gorgeous warm Halloween. I should have bought the next age group up. Like the backgrounds though.

Tuesday, November 21st, 2006Nikki — I adapted the instant treasure hunt for a church building and grounds setting. I had a family night with a dinner, and the after dinner entertainment was the treasure hunt. The parents and kids loved it! It was a BIG hit! After the treasure hunt, I gave my lesson which is that the Bible is full of ‘clues’ that lead us to the greatest treasure of all — Jesus. Wish I had some pictures to send, but forgot to bring my camera. I was not sure this would go over well, but the treasure hunt was one of the most successful activities I have ever done with the kids.

Monday, November 6th, 2006Hello Nikki, We had our party yesterday and the treasure hunt was a lot of fun. I thought I made a mistake ordering instant treasure hunt but tailored it to my needs and graphics and the kids and parents were impressed. My nine year olds thought some clues were too easy and others a little confusing but not confusing enough to make you give up. That’s a perfect balance in my opinion.
Thank you for the product and I will use again in home treasure hunts since that is what this particular product is tailored for … the Instant Treasure Hunt was ‘very’ easy to use and tailor to your personal needs. The children had a great time running around the lake and many stated it was the best birthday party they’ve attended. We had our treasure hunt last Friday. It was a big success. I added some ending clues so the boys would have to walk paces in various directions to find the treasure (actual gold Sacagawea dollars) buried in four separate chests. It took some time and thinking to set up for four groups of three kids and all starting at different locations and ending in four different locations. But it worked wonderfully. It helped me get started and easy to add various twists to it.
I ordered two, different age groups, games. I will be using the younger game in October. It’ll be fun. Thanks

We did the instant treasure hunt for my daughter’s 8th birthday party last week. We pretended that it was training to become a Secret Agent and the children all loved it. We had four teams and used the house and garden with military precision to try and ensure that they were never in the same place at the same time. It was absolutely great fun and we enjoyed organising it nearly as much as the children enjoyed doing it. Overall it was fantastic - it was amazingly simple to create and has made me far more confident to try and undertake such things in the future. I didn’t have the imagination to see how we could possibly hold a treasure hunt in our garden but your system gave us loads of ideas - in the end we had 19 clues with varying levels of difficulty for the different age groups and a different background picture for each team!
I was a little unsure of buying from an overseas company but am 100% thrilled with my purchase. We plan to have lots of small treasure hunts around the house throughout the winter and I have raved about your site to all my friends.
