Wednesday, June 30th, 2010Hi Nikki,
The scavenger hunt is taking place in NYC on May 6; it is a night time activity for a corporate event during that week. Age range is 22-50’s and there are about 25-35 people participating.
The part I am still trying to figure out is if groups should just use their phone cameras to take pictures or something else. Any thoughts?
The theme is really just sight around the city - this is the list of places and the clues that I have so far. I got a few ideas from the planner and most of them are just from research. I am trying to keep it to midtown and lower manhattan and will provide subway cards for each person but I tried to keep some of the sights within walking distance of each other.

Friday, July 10th, 2009Thanks so much Nikki. Having your email and your quick responses have given me a lot of confidence in the product. I have downloaded but have not yet read through the book. The party isn’t scheduled until May 25 - but it will be sponsored by our parent’s guild (a group of parents that do fundraising for a grammer school) and since we need to have our school year calendar of events completed for printing prior to school starting, it was really vital that I was able to determine if a treasure hunt would work. The venue will be our annual family picnic in a large community park and this will be the 1st year we will introduce a planned, structured game at this event - I am hopeful that it will become part of the school tradition. I will keep you posted!
Thanks again for all your help.
Take care,

Wednesday, June 24th, 2009Hi Nikki,
We had a very fun party on Saturday night and we were so happy to use our Treasure Hunt with the Pirate Theme. It was a lot of fun! We had about 40 people and the costumes were great and the entertainment was a lot of fun.
Thanks,

Yes indeed , we have just completed the treasure hunt on Saturday. I have modify the game to suit the venue and the crowd as we had 15 teams participating in the hunt. Contestants had a fun time . I will be fine tuning the game mechanics to cater for a team building crowd for January
2007.
Will update you later

Thursday, April 16th, 2009It went great. It was a summer end employee treasure hunt party and at the end the treasure was a chest full of $1 gold coins. Each employee got part of the treasure. I had to modify the clues to make it work at my resort but it went great. The employees loved it. The only thing I would do different would be to number the clues. A couple of groups found a clue that was not the correct one. If I numbered them, they would know that it wasn’t the right clue. However, the team that actually won didn’t skip any clues so that part was kinda funny.
